Tips to make the most of your Ibiza party holiday

Are you a seasoned Ibiza partygoer or planning your first trip to Ibiza to hit the clubs? If you’ve never partied on this amazing island, I have a few tips for you!

1. Luxury all inclusive hotel or apartment?

If you’ve been to Ibiza a few times and have seen everything, book a hotel with lots of amenities. This way, you can relax by the pool all day and be fully recharged for a night out. A simple apartment is also perfectly fine, as long as it’s close to the beach. In my opinion, the best place to stay is Playa d'en Bossa.

2. Party check

Carefully check which party you want to go to. Don’t choose a specific club, choose the event you want to attend. Trust me, the nightclub might be fantastic, but the vibe varies per party. It would be a shame to end up at a reggaeton party if that’s not your thing.

If you’re certain you want to see a specific DJ, book your tickets well in advance from home. Often, the price is lower, and you won’t have to spend time getting tickets when you come back from the beach.

3. Don’t dine in cozy restaurants

Lingering over tapas for hours? No way! You don’t have time for that. Just grab a pizza somewhere and enjoy it by the pool as the sun sets. During the day, grab a sandwich from the supermarket, or maybe you’re on a beach where someone sells delicious snacks. No need to leave your sunbed. Don’t forget to eat fruit. You need to stay somewhat fit during your ultimate party holiday!

4. Don’t visit all the beautiful beaches

If this is your first time in Ibiza and you still want to see a bit of the island, go to a beautiful beach for a day. But for the rest of the days, just relax on a sunbed at Playa d’en Bossa beach. There’s plenty happening there, and you won’t have to deal with buses, rental cars, or taxis. Just walk a bit and relax. No sightseeing because it’s too exhausting if you’re also partying until the early hours.

5. Save Up!

Make sure you save up well in advance so you don’t have to worry about whether you can afford that one more drink. Yes, really, the prices are super high. Don’t forget your earplugs either. In some clubs, the music is so loud that your insides feel like they might burst out of your chest.

6. Enjoy!!

Perhaps the most important tip! Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy! Let your hair down, wear that crop top you never dare to wear at home, and dance until your feet can’t take it anymore. And ladies: high heels are unnecessary. No one sees them, so just wear your sneakers.

Still want to see more of Ibiza? Then just come back next year and pick a different beach! ;-)
